How Debt Director's AI works and what it is — and isn't.

What the AI sees

When you ask Coach a question, scan a document or import a bill list, the request and the parts of your household data needed to answer it (bills, debts, income, goals, recent transactions) are sent from our servers to Google Vertex AI (Gemini). Your data is not used to train Google's models.
Coach can make changes you ask for — like adding a bill or recording a paycheck — and tells you what it did. Deleted bills can be restored from Recently deleted on the Bills screen.

Coach gives budgeting and debt-payoff guidance. It does not give legal, tax, investment, credit-repair or other regulated advice, and it does not recommend specific investments.
AI can be wrong. Check amounts and due dates before acting, and talk to a qualified professional for regulated advice.
